Giving Back

At Old Mill Café, we believe in the power of giving back and supporting those in need. Through our various donations, drives and chosen nonprofits, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families in our community.

Monthly:

Baltimore Hunger Project: We are dedicated to helping children from food insecure households, and contribute monthly to provide food packages to children, bridging the weekend and summer food gaps for kids who rely on free and reduced lunches.

Annually:

Back to School: We have particpated in and sponsor the yearly Back to School Supply Drive which is put on by St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Old Ellicott City.

Toys for Tots: We are an annual donation spot and sponsor holiday gifts and toys for multiple families every year.

HopeWorks: Since 1978, the Domestic Violence Center of Howard County has been providing critical services to families affected by domestic violence and raising awareness in the community. We participate in the annual holiday drives to provide wish list items for families affected by violence.

Donors Choose: Since 2019, we have been sponsoring classroom projects at low income schools in the DMV area - we have helped meet over a dozen requests, from snacks and air purifiers, to Chromebooks, financial literacy programs, and sensory stations.
